Hi! I’m Ty. I’m basically an all-around handy guy with a passion for helping people, fixing broken things, and building beautiful pieces.
I grew up doing repairs, remodeling homes, and learning on the job with my dad. My dad was and still is a do-it-yourself guy and I am lucky to have learned many skills from him, my grandfather, and others throughout the years. I went to college to pursue a medical career, but changed course along the way. As my wife and I settled down and started our own family, I continued to hone my handyman and home improvement skills by refinishing and repairing everything I could around our home, which ultimately led to the creation of Simple Man Handyman.
I’m a simple man, and I’m a family man. Born and raised in Loveland, I loved growing up here and my wife and I now love raising our three kids here.

Hi! I'm James. I grew up in Southern Nevada where I learned all the basics from my dad. Then in high school I had a job with the local plumber where I learned even more.
I met my wife while attending college in northern Utah. Together we spent eight years and had three kids in Utah. We bought our first house in 2020, a 1930s house that always had projects to complete. In addition to typical home repairs and updates, I have spent time building furniture and shelves for our home, as well as running a woodshop business on the side for a few years.
We moved back to Loveland (my wife’s hometown) early in 2022, and after many years in the professional world, in 2023, I joined Ty at Simple Man Handyman. I currently live in Loveland with my wife, four kids, and goldendoodle.
THE SIMPLE MAN STORY
Simple Man Handyman was started in early 2019 in an effort to provide for a growing family while also serving the community. Seeing the need for more good handymen to provide service for smaller jobs, Simple Man Handyman was started with the straightforward goal of providing a trustworthy and reliable service to homeowners in the area.
Though some things have changed in the years since starting, our goal remains the same:
Good, honest service.
It's that simple.
We hope to provide a service you can trust built on a foundation of precise and high quality work, along with honest and reliable service.
While we may not be able to fix everything, the things that we can do we put time and effort into to assure a high quality product for you - our customers. We are problem solvers willing to look at unique issues and find solutions.

Simple Man Handyman offers high quality handyman and residential home improvement services to customers living in Loveland, Colorado. Our mission is to provide excellent service through quality and precision in our work, along with honesty and reliability in our service. We work hard to make sure that every customer is a happy customer.
